North Dallas Glow Up
Starpower and Ed Kellum & Son partnered on an extensive renovation of a North Dallas residence, focusing on the design, product selection, and finish-out of both indoor and outdoor kitchens. The project was centered around elevating the culinary spaces to meet the highest standards of luxury and functionality.
The key highlight of this transformation was the replacement of a dated stone wall with a full wall of Sub-Zero and Wolf refrigeration and wine storage units. This striking feature not only modernized the kitchen's aesthetic but also significantly enhanced the home's functionality, offering state-of-the-art food preservation and wine storage solutions. The use of Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, known for their superior performance and design, ensured that the kitchens became a perfect blend of style and practicality, catering to both everyday living and entertaining.
The outdoor kitchen was similarly outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, seamlessly integrating the indoor and outdoor living spaces and providing a versatile area for cooking and socializing. This project exemplifies the meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence that Starpower and Ed Kellum & Son bring to every endeavor.
The Solution
For the kitchen remodel, our process started with understanding the client’s goals for the space. We measured and completed product selection. Everything was designed to spec in a hand drawn rendering which we then provided a visual 3D computer rendering to ensure the client could visualize the space prior to construction and installation.
Our team installed custom countertops with pop up power outlets, Sub- Zero Wolf Appliances: double oven, gas range (with black knobs), microwave. Additionally, an entire wall, formerly a rock facade, transformed into a wall of hidden Sub-Zero refrigerators and gorgeous wine racks.
Hand crafted custom leather seating, made in Dallas Texas and created to the exact specifications of the client. A sectional sofa was created to enhace the living room space and a stunning custom cream leather chaise lounge was created to compliment the master bedroom interior.
For the indoor to outdoor living space, we installed smart shades to help with climate control in the house which is critical during the Texas summer heat. The outdoor patio was complete with a custom built grilling area complete with Lynx grill.
